Getting there
Access to BABA ecolodge is from either Ranong or Phuket. Ranong is the closest airport with several flights a day from Don Mueang Airport. More frequent flights between both Bangkok airports and Phuket. The resort will arrange transportation from either Phuket Airport or Ranong Airport. Please make sure to not land later then 1pm at either Airport in order to ensure to travel to Baba Ecolodge the same day.

Each of our spacious 27 bespoke wooden villas has been created in harmony with the natural features seamlessly blending into the surrounding environment. All the villas offer private gardens and elevated wooden decks for relaxation, either hidden under the lush tropical canopy or directly facing the calm Andaman Sea.
All villas are unique and designed for their very own purpose; a secluded and romantic villa for two – a perfect hideaway, or for a tropical getaway with space for the entire family.

Our kitchen is centred around the use of fresh seasonal ingredients straight from the daily market and produce from neighbouring village farmers, our organic garden featuring homegrown herbs and vegetables, and what nature grants from the sea in front of the lodge.

Combine places in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, go exploring in the Indonesian waters or the jungle of Malaysia, or combine a stay at BABA with other small privately owned properties in the south of Thailand, or visit a different Bangkok or Isaan in the east of the country.
The opportunities are infinite, and we feel that more and more of our guests are showing interest for more adventurous experiences away from the mainstream tourist route, but not least looking for places with a strong sense of local presence, focus on authenticity and and nature based sustainable tourism.

Our stay at the BABA Ecolodge could hardly have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived from the mainland and were greeted literally in the warm water of a sheltered Andaman Sea bay.
We feel so lucky to have found this gem. Staying here has been the best beach resort experience we’ve ever had. I saw a horseshoe crab and a stingray as I stepped off the longtail.
